soft edges, hard edges, negative painting. atmosferic prospective, kolinsky brushes, paper, color theory....so many things to know and so many things to keep in mind while painting...
on the other hand the there is just the joy of painting. the joy of making some lines to become mountains. clouds. statues...
i will try to talk about my experience with watercolor, just for the joy of making art...
having the privilege to join together music and painting...
let's start:
my last work a couple of cherubini in the boboli garden in Florence (where i live)..
it was hard to keep them free from the colour and to build up a nice background.
the difficulty for me it is to put free hand drawing with drawing with a ruler...
and to draw straight lines with the brush...just a night mare...
